I have one, rebuliding my credit score. Just by opening it my credit has went up 3 points. And went up another 6 points after the second month of on time, i pay the full balance, seems to be working to rebuild my credit. If you pay the balance in full you will not get charged the interest, they have a 25 day grace period. I don't really mind the high interest, i never carry a balance on it. I was approved for 300, paid a 45 dollar processing fee, and they charged my card a 75 annual fee. Way high, but with my credit history, some poeple have to pay to get their credit back on track. I have this card, 1 orchard classic and two secured cards from applied bank. they are all reporting on my credit and my score has significantly improved from the last two months.

this suck sucks, so many fees for everything! customer service is rude, i got this card because they were the 1st ones to give me a credit card and i found myself on vacation in need of some money to use so i ended up using the card. Everytime i turn around there was a fee that put me over my limit at that i do not recommend this card at all go for captial one or orchard bank or even a secured card. They are not worth the headache.

who would pay to get a credit card? 75 dollars they take off asap and then they want you to send 90 dollars to open the account. Minus 165 dollars from 225 and you have 60 dollars worth of credit to use on the card! get a bank debit and pay nothing

If I could give it zero stars, I would. What a POS card...between the 36% interest rate, $95.00 processing fee, $75.00 annual fee, and $8 monthly fee, you're really better off putting that money on a secured card with Capital One or something. This card was even worse in 2006 when I had it; back then they charged all this crap up front and you ended up with $50 available credit by the time you got the thing (they had to clean up their act a bit after the new credit card regulations). There are better choices out there. Don't put yourself through the hassle. Run far, far away from this.

Trying to force me to pay interest and punished me for paying to mouch each month. Had this card for about 6 months. i never paid late, I always paid bill direct from my checking account which I had on file with first premier. I never changed checking account information and all payments went thru on time. I would transfer money from my checking account to my credit card several times a month as I bought things. The last month I actually paid as much as my previous billing statement was so I was charged NO INTEREST for that month. I was offered a 2nd card, I'm sure it came with another FEE. I declined and asked why I could just get a higher credit limit on the 1 account why have 2 accounts, they said thats how they did it,I said no thanks ill stick to just 1 account. The next week I was BLOCKED from Paying my bill online. Said they had to verify I was signer on my checking account and the last $100 went thru. They had already contacted my bank who verified the $100 had cleared but wouldn't tell them who's name was on account account. I faxed First premier my checking account statement weeks later they said only received part of the statement.I refaxed it and woman swore she'd send it to the "security" department who by the way is not available to talk on the phone so everything has to be mail or faxed since they don't except phone calls in that department. Account still restricted, i cant use the card and I cant Make online payments, so i get charged interest, no more paying then reusing funds after transfer. I signed up with bill pay at my bank and my bank pays them online from my checking account website. the same checking account that first premier has on file but won't let me use to pay them Keep in mine, I was never late, never had apayment that was declined by my bank, never changed checking account information ,same account paid them for 6 months w/o problems then I am blocked few days after turning down 2nd card, the same month i had paid so much to them that i paid no interest.

My score went up 17 points just by opening the account, and it continues to go up 3-5 points every month. I was approved for a $300 limit. I keep my balance under $90 and I pay it off every month. Once, after the account had been open about two months, I had to charge an emergency vet bill on it. My high balance shows as $180 now. I think if it wasnt for that, it would help me more every month. I have never had any issues with paying my bill, customer service is always helpful, and I use the online banking so everything I need to know is right there. I paid a $75 processing fee when I applied, another $75 account fee the first month, as well as $4.95 for online banking. Yes the fees are high, but thats the price we pay for our past mistakes. I have about one year before all of my negatives (from the divorce era) fall off. I needed this account to boost me up when I'm ready for a larger, more attractive card, and a new car in another year or so. I would definitely reccomend this card

Do NOT apply for anything from this greedy little company - They have successfully fought the government, (see first premier bank vs the federal reserve), and admitted that it would be devastating to them if they could not charge excessively high fee's. It would be difficult for companies to prey on consumers if the demand was not there.

I have had this card for almost a year. The customer service is fair and I have not had any problems with payments or any issue with any untruthful statements.... My credit rating went from 520 to 645 since then.... I also now qualified for a capitol one and am recieving other offers... As long as you are commited to paying your bills on time and also ensuring that you do not leave high balances on the card this is the card for you. Good luck to all!!!!

I've had this card for over 2 years now. Yes, the fees are high and the interest rate is high, but anyone who needs to rebuild their credit shouldn't be carrying a balance every month. If you pay it off every month, the interest is a moot point. My credit score has gone up over 100 pts in the 2 years I've had it. I've never had ANY issue with the card as far as payments being posted or not. I get my bill, I pay it, end of story. I have been quite pleased with the card. I'm even reluctant to cancel it because it's my oldest account and that helps my credit score.

If you been turned out by other C/C's this one will help to rebuild you credit BUT keep an eye on it... pay on time... and do not use more than 30% of your limit and with time you should see your credit score getting better...Good luck.

: Sooooooo, my whole goal here was to rebuild my credit. I just got a new job, less than 6 months into it, needed a "gas" card. Did it do what I wanted, YES, but was only a $300 balance to start with. CK had my credit score at 610 when I started (divorce) ... so didn't have alot of complaining room. NOW, my CK score is 685, so I applied for, and got a SW Rewards card w/ a $1k limit @ %15 ... compared to the First Premier Card @ %49 (Ouch). If your looking to rebuild your credit, sure take it, as you should have 3 open lines of credit (per my banker / good friend) ... So this card is getting paid off or small balance, and the SW card WILL BE taking the place of my new gas card.
