CK 723, EF 715, EX 715 very low card balances and I ended up with $2500 CL at 22.99% interest rate after intro. I will be paying this card off every month.

I have always had good service from Chase. The only negative is that some of their 800 reps are in foreign countries.  They should hire Americans and can do so from someones home or garage.

I got this card back in march when they had the promotion for receiving 200 cash back after spending 500 wihin three months. I only got approved for 1500, which is lower than my other credit cards. Not sure if it was a bad idea or not. I applied for an auto loan the other day, and was informed my cs was 733, which is good for someone with only 3 years of credit history. My only annoyance was a credit limit of 1500? why so low?

Had a "very good" chance of getting this card, was denied. Am a currently CapOne customer, wanting to get a card so I don't have the monthly fee they decided to toss on me not that long ago. What a waste.

Because we don't carry a balance? You can charge me 600% interest if the rewards are good, and I'm still going to make money off the card.

Could you explain what you mean "I'm still going to make money off the card"?

Reply

If you pay your balance in full every month you will not be charged interest (within the 21 day cycle between statements). Then because there are cash rewards you are now making money.

Why would ANYONE apply for a card with 23% interest?  Just say no!...No matter if you pay it off every month or not.

My interest is at 18.99%...but I dont have perfect credit. If you have perfect credit, your interest will be lower. If not, its higher. Dont charge more than you can afford to pay and you will be fine...also, you can get them to drop the APR later on when your payments are consistently on time and you keep your balances low.

Just applied for this card with a CK score of 698. Have one collections account on my credit report, but it is 4 years old. Annual income of $60K. I was approved for a CL of $4000.

So I tried to take the offer.  Have a 701 credit score and was not approved.  What a waste that was.

Hello wacohoward, What was the reason for you not being approved?  (e.g. too many open accounts, utilization of credit too high, too little credit, etc.).  Please advise.  Your response would be very helpful!  Thanks!

Hello wacohoward, I am interested to know why you were not approved?  (e.g. too many credit cards, card utilization too high, too little credit, etc.)  Your response to this question, would be most helpful. Thank you, CVL

CK688 EX721 - 0% 6mo/purchase APR AND 0% 12mo/transfer APR.  Opening credit limit was $2400,   purchase APR becomes 23% following promotional APR. I transfered the balances of two other cards with APRs of 22% and 15.5%.  Also Chase noted that I may not have been offered better terms due to my credit history.
