CK recommended this card with "Good" approval odds. I have a CK score of 664 and all 3 bureaus report around 690 as my score. I applied and was instantly approved with the balance not being shown. I received a letter in the mail for a limit of $3000 and no APR for 15 months, 5% cashback on groceries and movies, and 10,000 point bonus after $500 of purchases in 90 days. Hope my experience will be great with this card, I just got it. Will report back in a few months.

I applied for this card and was hoping to get approved since the site said / showed a low score approval rate. I had just did an new car loan with my credit union and have a credit score of 610. The instant approval didn't go through so I knew I would be denied. About a week later the declined letter came through. I ended up going back to my credit union that gave me my auto loan and they gave me a 10% rewards visa with a 2000.00 credit limit. I won't be applying for any other cards and will see how much my score changes with the additional card and only use it for rewards purchases that I can pay off each month.

So i applied for this freedom visa card 10 days ago and they checked only my experian which has the highest score (thank god) of 640. I received the letter stating i wasnt approved : ( but thanks to this site and some research i called the back door number i found on here and spoke with a rep who re processed my app and with-in 2-4 minutes i was APPROVED ! $600. credit limit (low) but not bad i gotta start sumwhere. It was originally denied because not enough revolving accounts to establish credit apr is 22.99% ill pay bal every mnth tho yay !

I have had this card approx 5 years. My "due date" is the 13th each month. I pay it off in full every month on the 12th. But any new purchases made on the 13th through the 16th each month always show up as "balance owed" on my statement...so it appears to others that I carry a balance every month ...when in reality I pay off purchases every week online! I feel this gives a very inaccurate picture of my credit card balance. I do like the 1% to 5% cash back, that is the ONLY reason I keep this bank and credit card.

The statement balance is your balance on the statement date. The due date is when your payment is due. Now that you know the difference, perhaps you can figure out why having a zero balance on the due date is unrelated to the balance on your statement.

THIS CARD WAS GREAT WHILE IT LASTED... BUT MY TIME IS UP! I PAID IT ALL BACK... BEFORE A YEAR EVEN CAME, I WOULD KEEP IT BUT I DECIDED I AM GOOD FOR NOW. I'M STILL WITH CHASE BANK GOING ON 3 YEARS NOW... THOUGH. SO EITHER WAY I'MA BE STRAIGHT.

One of the best cards in my portfolio. The revolving cashback categories are too good. The 300 joining bonus made it even sweeter. No problem faced till now.
