My limits for AMX and Wells Fargo have significantly changed since this report was undated. If you will, please make corrections.

dont go with american express ever i been really good with them 800 credit score and they suspended my accounts   3 accounts  cause they want my bank record and my taxes TAXES 

I love their reward system and this summer I'm travelling to my oversea country without paying anything. Their customer service is perfect, they deserve five stars I think. 

Can someone confirm / deny for me that AMEX blacklists former customers?  I was a victim of fraud many years ago (before identify theft became a more serious crime) and after several court cases it was ruled in my favor that the charges were not my doing.  The only problem was that since they couldn't track down the culprit, AMEX continues to pin it on me saying that unless the amount that was expunged is paid, they will not issue me a new card.  Another friend who was victimized by the same individual filed bankruptcy and AMEX still won't issue him a card with the same explanation given to him as me and despite it being over 10 years ago since the filing and a current credit score over 750. 

Indeed a good card, has many nice things built in it. I like to use it more as a every day card BUT it is not accepted at many locations.  I like its reward program. Specialy after you hit your 6,500.00 it becomes 5%, if you pay in full each month this card is a money maker.........waooo

 great card, no card is parallel to it. no wait in customer service, professional service etc.  Only down side is not all store accepts amex, other wise I would only have one cc.  thnaks

Never have had good luck with Amex. A while back I got a new card with them that was 0% for balance transfers and purchases for 1 year. When I tried to do a balance transfer, they always had a reason that they couldn't do the transfer (improper acct number format, etc.). Then when I cleared all that up, they just said a review of my credit did not allow a balance transfer. Of course, they would be happy to let me charge up new additional credit card debt up to the $10,000 credit limit. It's clear that they never intended to allow balance transfers, they just wanted to collect the discount rate on new purchases. I cancelled the card.

The best credit card available. Good rewards, excellent customer service, great website, great free accidental and extended warranty insurance. Negatives are you always need to take a visa/mc as backup.

The best service oriented credit card on the market. I have been a customer for 13 years. You never have to wait on the phone, their customer service is first rate. The concierge even helped my get reservations at The French Laundry.  The only down side are the annual fees but in the end you get what you pay for. 

American Express cards are the best. Their customer service is great and their benefits are second to none. The only down side is you better have good credit and high income.
