AccountNow provides prepaid Visa and MasterCard cards as an alternative to traditional credit payment services. With applications online, AccountNow cards guarantee approval for every applicant, making it a good option for consumers with poor or little to no credit history. AccountNow cards allow consumers to deposit money direct to a prepaid card, and acts similar to an online checking account and debit card. AccountNow is accepted anywhere Visa is accepted, and features options such as direct deposit for paychecks and online bill pay.

This card will not help your credit since it does not report to the bureaus. Try Public Savings Bank if you are looking for something that may help your credit.

The offer does NOT make it clear that this is for people who do not have checking accounts!!! I have a free checking account, I'm wanting a pre-paid card to re-build my credit! How do I cancel this?

is this card meant to reestablish credit or does everyone use it only as a debit card?

I LOVE my Account Now card. No overdrafts, $9.95 monthly fee. That's it, there are no hidden fees and no drama. The best thing going in debit cards

Some people who commented are stupid. If you have direct deposit you pay nothing per month. That's right $0.00 per month if you have direct deposit set up. I have an account at AccountNow and I pay $0.00 per month. Also there are no fees like this $150 fee someone is talking about. Its no wonder these people have low credit scores, their IQs are low too.

I have this card and I think it's great. They do not charge $150 to get a card. They only charge a $9.95 activation fee which is waived when you sign up for direct deposit, which I did. Also, their monthly fee is the same as netspend at $9.95 and includes free bill pay, free credit builder and the opportunity to borrow money. Plus there are no overdraft fees like a bank. I am happy with my AccountNow card.

check out netspend, same company (metabank) but only the $10 monthly fee is charged. used them for checking for 3 years and wouldn't even think of going to a normal bank

I Have accountnow and i didn't have to pay anything and i have direct deposit. i think is a good card to start.
