Excellent card and customer service approved instantly 702 credit karma score for $1500. I would highly recommand getting this card and you will never find better customer service form a big bank like discover.

I could not be happier that I switched to Discover.  First, their customer service is located in Idaho (?). A US state either way, which means I always talk to an english native speaker.  That alone has made a world of a difference because my previous credit card company closed two credit cards of mine by accident because of a language communication breakdown. Discover has updated their cash back program to match Chases, now you can collect 5% cash back up to $1500 worth of purchases instead of the measily $200-$400 as before.  Their website is not perfect, but gives me more monitoring ability as my previous credit company.  The website is hands down better than Chase's (I have credit cards with both).

A great credit card with great features. Cashback is nice, & you can use the amount toward your bill (if you collect up to $50 or more, which is a little easy). Otherwise, you can cash in on great gift cards (they give you an extra 5$ for 20$), & you can you it on Amazon.com. Tons of designs, easy payments online & via the iPhone app...it's perfect. I have a TU credit score of 680, & got approved for $2500. I definitely recommend for students !

I will give 5 out of 5 points this card. i am holding this card and they increased my credit limit with out asking me. also they gave me 2 times 0% Balance transfer. I have another credit card from DCU and they never increased my credit limit until i request them. after my request they increased just 2K only. I am feeling bad with the less credit increment with DCU. but This Discovery card doing very good. I will recomend this card for responsible credit managers to apply. 

I would give it 3.5 rating, but it seems like that are doing some improvements, I guess to fight the competition of Chase Freedom. Pro's: - Great Freud Department.  - Good US base customer service. - Shop Discover is the best cash back/ points online program. - Cash back can be increased if chossing a partner gift card. For $20 you get $40 of rental car, or for $45 you get $50 for great dining and department store options. - Seems like they are partnering with Diners Club internationally, country by country, so can be used where Diners is accepted. - As of recently there is no transaction fee for the purchases abroad.   Cons - Need to spend $3,000 before the 1% cash back starts to kick in, otherwise it is 0.25%. - Warehouse clubs have only 0.25% cash back always. - Low 5% limits. E.g. Recent one had 5% on travel purchases up to $400. Chase limits are $1,500.   Tip - If you are doing a lot of online purchases, then go through Shop Discover, that is how I maximaze my cash back. 15% Groupon, 5% Dell, Lenovo and Tiger Direct, and so on. Then I get a gift card, from Olive Garden or Gap to maximize it even more.

I just applied online CK of 638 not sure what my actual scores are but last year I bought a house and a car.  I am looking for better cards to to replace my current Cap1 cards. I have 3 with them and all three have an individual credit line of $750.  However only one of them gives me any cashback.  I did not get my CL online so I called to find out that it's $1500.  I'm happy with this and with the customer service I recieved on that call.  this is a great complementary cart to go with my Delta CU Card and my Amax.  before the last three years my credit was poor and that's an understatement.  Now it seems I'm on the right track.  I hope this helps  anyone looking to apply

 approved with a 1000 credit line and was just raised to 1350 after three months when approved i had credit scores of 693 / 660 / 653 good card and they have great customer service.

 Not at all happy with Discover. Customer for 6 years and never delinq with them, or anyone else, ever. Made an on time payment using EFT from my bank, as is the usual practice. Discover incorrectly credits someone else's account. By the time I go back and check the account on line I am 5 days late, but not a 30 day delinquent. Contact customer service and they correct the payment error. However since the credit department sees the past due, even though its their error, they reduce the credit limit. My financial situation hasn't changed at all and no other cards have any issue. Head scratch ?....You betchya.and now use my other cards instead, which have higher lines, better pricing and greater acceptance. Discover does talks the talk but does not walk the walk.
