Barclaycard is a global credit card and loan provider, based primarily in the UK. Barclaycard in the United States issues credit cards partnered with over 60 companies and brands worldwide, including retailers like L.L. Bean and Apple to services like Priceline.com and Travelocity. Barclaycard offers cards spanning basic credit cards to rewards and travel credit cards. Barclaycard's website also includes a resource center, complete with articles to help customers manage credit widely. Barclaycard developed in the U.S. in 2004 to partner with leading U.S. companies and deliver co-branded credit cards, and helped to develop Barclays' presence in the U.S.

Must be very flexible with travel and even then it's almost impossible to redeem miles without using ten times what you thought it should be becuse the "mile exchange seats go fast." I spent three and a half hours on the phone with customer service only to be told they could not accomodate a roundtrip off peak (which should have been 5000 miles) for the next six months without using 27,000 miles. Customer service is outsourced and they frequently hang up. While customer service for the credit card it's self is good, they have no control over the fact miles are alost impossible to redeem and if you somehow do redeem them it will likely take a couple of hours to make the transactio and you'll still pay a "redemption fee." If you want the card for the cards sake, I've had no problems with the Bank of America end. If you're paying an anuual fee to earn miles, IMHO it's not worth it.
