If you shop online, this is a MUST have. I have saved over $500 in the first year (2011) by using the Upromise toolbar. It is a very good product.

This is currently the card I prefer to use in my wallet. It has OK rewards via UPromise and the Bank of America customer service is decent. I would recommend it to others.

I've had the card since it was with Citi. Now it is with Bank of America. The card is a good cash back card the works with Upromise. Most people didn't know / don't know that you can just get a check cut for the rebate. You don't have to put it into a 529 or use it for your child's future. I would have given this 5 stars but there was an annual cap of $300 in rebates which is not that great.

this is a world mastercard, meaning that it has no pre-set credit limit and you enjoy all the vvip perks mastercard doles out (think business class) that alone makes me want it but it has some of the most stringent credit criteria of all student cards, you need a crystal clear file in order to get one of these bad boys

because it is a world mastercard does not mean it does not have a no preset spending limit. It just has extra perks and the limit is not reported to the credit bureaus which is also not accounted into your overall credit card utilization. There is a credit limit issued to you when you are approved and receive the card. This is not a charge card which is a no preset spending limit.
